FAQ & Policies

Health Guarantee & Puppy Care

Clear, straightforward policies—so you know exactly what to expect before and after pickup.

Two-Week Health Guarantee (14 Days)

We guarantee that your puppy is in good health at the time of transfer and free of observable illness or physical abnormality while in our care.

  • Serious illness or a significant health condition that a licensed veterinarian confirms was present at the time of pickup.

  • Illnesses, injuries, accidents, or stress-related issues that occur after the puppy leaves our care
  • Routine and common puppy issues (including mild diarrhea, stress-related stomach upset, etc.)
  • Intestinal parasites (worms/giardia/coccidia), which are common in puppies despite responsible prevention and treatment
  • Any condition caused by failure to follow basic care (vaccination schedule, safe exposure practices, proper supervision, etc.)

  • You must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup if you suspect a serious issue.
  • Notify us within 24 hours of the vet visit.
  • Provide written documentation from the veterinarian (diagnosis, test results, and clinic contact information).

  • If a qualifying serious condition is confirmed, you may return the puppy to us within 14 calendar days of pickup for a refund of the purchase price minus the deposit.
  • The puppy must be returned in the same general condition (excluding the diagnosed issue) and accompanied by veterinary records.
  • If the puppy is not returned within the 14-day period, the refund option is forfeited.

Because parvovirus incubation periods can vary and exposure can happen after pickup, parvo is only covered under the following circumstances:

  • Puppies still in our care and/or puppies from the same litter that left our care on or after your pickup date are diagnosed with parvo by a licensed veterinarian; or
  • Your puppy receives a parvo test on the same day as pickup and the veterinarian documents a positive result consistent with infection present at the time of transfer.

Puppy Care Overview (While in Our Care)

  • Age-appropriate enrichment and early training exposure multiple times per day
  • A 5-way vaccination at 6 weeks (as appropriate for age and per veterinary guidance)
  • Scheduled deworming

Deworming Schedule

  • Pyrantel pamoate at 2, 4, and 6 weeks
  • Fenbendazole at 7 weeks

Even with proper deworming, intestinal parasites can still occur in young puppies. For this reason, we strongly recommend that new owners:

  • Schedule a vet visit soon after pickup
  • Request a fecal test and follow your veterinarian’s preventative plan
